Neil Van Huis has 15 years of capital markets experience primarily in the derivatives trading industry at top proprietary trading firms globally. Beginning his career in Fixed Income Cash and Futures trading, Neil later worked as a part of a leading commodities trading team inside Transmarket Group in Chicago. He later went on to start his own firm with a partner and served as Managing Partner and Senior Quantitative Trader there.

Neil's start in crypto began in 2016, mostly on the trading side, before he became a capital partner and Director at Blockfills since inception. Today, Neil is in charge of running Blockfills mining division and delivering capital and technology solutions to the world's most sophisticated miners. Neil is also a Co-Founder of K+H Crypto, a boutique investment firm in the digital asset sector.

Matt Prusak is Chief Business Development Officer at US Bitcoin Corp. US BTC builds and operates some of the largest Bitcoin mining facilities in North America, with sites in Upstate New York and West Texas. US Bitcoin's backers include Eric Schmidt, Peter Thiel and Naval Ravikant. He holds an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business and a Masters of Management Science from Tsinghua University in Beijing, where he was a Schwarzman Scholar.

John Sostak is the CEO of Alpha Vertical, incorporated in Wyoming in 2018. Alpha Vertical supports Bitcoin miners and Bitcoin. Miners Summit, Where Tech & Energy Meet is founded by Alpha Vertical. Miners Summit is an executive conference for Bitcoin miners and energy companies. It is being held in College Station, Texas at the Hilton College Station on June 15-16.

John Sostak is a sales and marketing executive that thrives in a startup or entrepreneurial environment. He has been mining Bitcoin since 2015. John is a retired Chicago Firefighter, and an Army veteran. John and his family live in Marble Falls, Texas.

Chris Hemschot, Director of Origination for TCS, has almost 25 years of experience in the energy industry. He headed the ERCOT trading desks for Morgan Stanley, NRG, and TXU. He has direct experience with complex power portfolios resulting from managing over 38,000MW of power generation throughout the US including P&L responsibility for commodity risk on billions in annual gross margin. While at Morgan Stanley, he purchased over 1,500MW of PPAs from new wind projects, which, combined with the bank’s construction loans and tax equity placement, contributed to the explosive growth in ERCOT renewable generation. He is excited to help industry transform and electrify the energy markets!
