Phil Stanley: Founded PM Squared Financial in response to the need his clients faced on being able to offer a variety of planning and investment solutions in one place. Phil graduated from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor’s in Corporate Communications. Patrick Zielbauer: Joined BlockFills after nearly 2 decades in the futures brokerage and trading space. At BlockFills, Patrick forms and manages relationships with some of the firm’s most strategic partners and active market participants. These include funds, exchanges, brokers, and miners. Through a consultative approach, Patrick assists the blockchain, mining, and trading communities with liquidity and technology solutions, derivatives-based trading and hedging ideas, lending facilities, and other means of support. A Chicagoland native, Patrick moved to Texas 5 years ago and lives in the Austin area with his wife, 2 children, and an assortment of animals.
Jonathan Joseph: Founder and Managing Partner at Smart Money Ventures and the Yield Farming Fund. The Yield Farming Fund, a multi-strategy hedge fund, is the first compliant US hedge fund built out of smart contracts and existing entirely on-chain. By employing DeFi-native on-chain investment strategies, the Yield Farming Fund delivers returns in excess of 300% annually to date. The smart contracts that comprise the Yield Farming Fund were built by the Smart Money Venture Studio and became the studio's first fully-spun out company, SmartFunds, allowing anyone to benefit from the automation of fund administration. JJ started his career in venture capital at In-Q-Tel, the CIA's strategic venture capital fund, where he led some of the fund's most successful investments.
