Board resolution to designate Bitcoin’s critical and strategic nature to the Texas Blockchain Council.

Whereas Texas is a unique state with important energy resources that are necessary for the secure functioning of the Bitcoin proof-of-work network,

Whereas the Texas ethos dovetails fundamentally with the Bitcoin ethos of liberty, economic independence and growth, personal accountability, and decentralized control,

Whereas increasing numbers of Texas companies are being started and grown here based on these resources and ethos,

Whereas the Texas Blockchain Council is in the best position as a trade association to represent the needs of the Bitcoin industry in Texas,

Whereas adding a Bitcoin strategic focus will both increase the membership and success of the TBC and support the goals of its member companies,

Now, therefore, be it resolved that the Texas Blockchain Council shall develop and promote Bitcoin interests and designate reasonable and appropriate resources to this effort, fully integrated with its overall strategic direction going forward.
